I graduated from Indiana University, go Hoosiers! I have been teaching for 11 years. This is my 3rd year teaching 1st grade and my 4th year at Hayes. I have a daughter who is starting high school and is on the North Cobb JV volleyball team. I am also active with volleyball and will be the assistent coach at Kennesaw Mountain High School. I love animals and have 2 dogs and a cat.

November is here. Continue working on addition and subtraction facts to 12. We are studying shapes and 3-d shapes. Please work on sight words. Students need to recognize 100 words by December 19. Once they can read the words, have them spell the words also. We are taking a look at Thomas Jefferson and will also start sound. Make sure you are reading each night with your child. Books should be recorded in the homework folder as well as for the Pizza Hut Book it program.
