Today we are going to read and write about the civil war.

1) First you can read examples of journal entries from the Civil War

2) Next go to write a journal entry. Don't forget that you will need a journal title. You can get
ideas from the samples provided. Your journal entry should be 5 sentances.

3) When you are finished, you can design a Civil War room.

4) In a few days, go back to the website and read your journal entry by searching by state or grade level.
