Ms. Jones has been with us since January and is doing a wonderful job in our class.  We really love  and appreciate all of the work and help she is giving to our class.  She will be bringing more news to you soon.

Projects

February is Black History Month.  Each member of our class is has been assigned a famous African Americans who has contributed to our society to make it better.  Mr. Carter our Area Superintendent will be visiting our class February 28, 2007 to listen to our presentations.  Our class is very excited to show Mr. Carter how hard they have worked on their projects.

For our study on microorganisms the students have each been given a topic to research. They are working with partners and creating a brochure to present to the class. The topics include cow-stomach bacteria, buttermilk bacteria, mold, penicillin, etc. So far, the students have completed research and are working on creating their brochures.
