Welcome Back Letter

Welcome

Ms. Lockner’s Class

Dear Boy’s and Girl’s,

I am so glad that you are going to be in my class this year!  Some of you may have seen me or got to know me last year and some may not.  Whatever the case may be, we will know each other very soon and before you know it, we will be good friends.

We have so much to learn this school year! I know that all of you are very excited to learn to write in cursive, practice multiplication facts and do other fun things like science experiments! Just think of all of the cool books we can read together.

I want this to be a very special year for you in third grade.  Please don’t be afraid to talk to me when you have something to share, when you don’t understand, or even when you are upset or not feeling well.  I promise that I will listen carefully to you just as you will listen carefully when I am teaching.

I am looking forward to getting this year started off to a great start and getting to know each and every one of you!

Sincerely,

Ms. Lockner

Jennifer Lockner

B2scdesk Welcome to Ms. Lockner's Room!  I am so excited to be returning to Hayes for a second year.  I moved to the Kennesaw area a little over a year ago when I accepted a job teaching here at Hayes.  I previously lived in Johnson City, Tennessee.  I hold a Bachelor's Degree from East Tennessee State University in Special Education with a minor in Human Development and Learning and a Master's Degree from Milligan College in Early Childhood Education, preschool-third grade concentration.  I taught for one year in Tennessee before moving to Georgia. My family includes my parents and my brother who all live in Tennessee.  When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time at home with my dog or traveling back to Tennessee to visit with my family and friends.  Enough about me though, I want you to know that I feel very privileged to be a part of the Hayes team and a part of your child's life.  I truly do love each and every one of your children and I want to provide them with the best possible education because that is what they deserve.  Please feel free to contact me anytime.  Go Mustangs!
