Parents,
Our classroom supplies of tissue and antibacterial hand wash are quickly diminishing. It would be greatly appreciated if you could send any in. Thanks!

Please help your children with studying their multiplication facts at home every night. We have already finished multiplication and have moved into division. Division is a very hard concept to understand if you don't know multiplication. We take 5 minute timed tests every Wednesday. Students must pass 100 problems in 5 minutes to move to the next fact. They are being tested on facts 1-10. Even though we are not specifically working on multiplication any longer, we will continue to take the timed tests every Wednesday. Please, please, please review the facts with your child every night!
Welcome back from Thanksgiving break! I hope all of you had a relaxed and enjoyable holiday break. As you may already know, third grade will be performing their holiday program during the PTSA meeting on Thursday, December 11th. We will be working very hard this week on rehearsing lines and singing songs. If your child has a special speaking part or solo, please help them to memorize their parts. Our music teacher, Mrs. Fountain, has worked very hard to put this program together and she really likes to show off students' talents. There are many third graders who did not get solo parts or speaking lines that would have liked to; however, there are simply not enough parts for everyone to have their own. Therefore, she really is trusting that the students she selected will learn their parts and take pride in the program. I look forward to seeing you all there!
Our class is running low on sandwich size Ziploc baggies. If you can donate some, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!
